Bernadett (Betti) Kovács is our Director of Finance at Murzilli Consulting, bringing over 10 years of financial leadership experience. Although her early ambitions initially pointed in a different direction, she soon discovered an aptitude for numbers and excelled academically, earning the Hungarian Republic Scholarship in two consecutive academic years.
She began her career at the Hungarian leasing branch of Austria-based Oberbank, starting in back-office support before moving into the sales organization. There, she played a key role in structuring financing solutions for high-value equipment linked to bespoke healthcare tenders. Following the 2008 financial crisis, which fundamentally reshaped the European leasing market, she transitioned to the milling industry as a Finance Coordinator, including a period living and working in Berlin and Szczecin.
Betti joined the international controlling team of Deutsche Telekom’s Hungarian subsidiary in 2012. In 2018, she took a one-year assignment as Business Controller in the Supply Chain industry, and in 2019 she returned to her former team at Deutsche Telekom Hungary to support the financial management of large-scale technology projects. In this fast-evolving ICT environment, she delivered significant impact across multiple areas, consistently demonstrating that efficient financial processes and agile, well-grounded decision-making are decisive drivers of business performance. Over the past three years, she has primarily worked as a business partner for Public Sector projects, through which she also gained some exposure to the aviation industry.
Betti is strongly committed to continuous professional development and the expansion of her expertise, with a particular interest in automated finance solutions and their successful implementation. She believes a financial function is most effective when it enables smooth, efficient business operations while establishing a robust management information and reporting system that provides an accurate, timely, and transparent view of the company’s financial and economic performance at any given time.
At Murzilli Consulting, Betti oversees the company’s financial management, ensuring internal controls, sound budgeting processes and long-term financial stability. She supports strategic decision-making across the organisation and ensures that our financial operations align with growth objectives and commitment to excellence.
Her remit spans strategic planning, consolidated reporting, cash and funding, risk and compliance, and continuous process improvement to support efficient operations and long-term value creation.
In addition to her Specialized Master of Finance qualification, she holds a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential as well as the International Controlling Expert certification issued by ReFa GmbH. Her native language is Hungarian; she also has near-native proficiency in German, is fluent in English, and has a basic command of French and Polish.
